The clue is in the name
Most renovation companies will take on whatever comes through the door. A deck this month, a kitchen the next, a bathroom squeezed in between. It is a reasonable way to run a building business. It is a terrible way to renovate a bathroom.
Just Bathrooms exists because the bathroom is the most technical room in the house per square metre, and it deserves a team that does nothing else. Waterproofing, drainage falls, ventilation, tiling tolerances, three trades working in a space the size of a car. Get any of it slightly wrong and you find out two years later.
Who is behind it
A new name, built on years of Waikato building
We are not a new outfit learning on your bathroom. Just Bathrooms is an established Waikato building team we are refocusing to do one thing and do it properly. The name is new. The trades, the systems and the accountability behind it are not.
The team is certified with New Zealand Certified Builders, which has stricter entry criteria than the association most people know from the television advertising, including minimum qualifications and background checks. That membership is what lets us offer the Halo 10-Year Residential Guarantee on your job, on top of the 10-year implied warranty the Building Act 2004 already gives you.

The people behind it
A small local team, not a call centre
Behind Just Bathrooms is Jake Thomas, a Licensed Building Practitioner with more than 20 years of building experience in the Waikato and certified with New Zealand Certified Builders. Jake is the one on the tools, measuring, planning and building every bathroom, alongside two young Waikato families who keep everything running behind the scenes. Local, easy to deal with, and fussy about the details other builders rush past.

We would rather spend longer on the quote than hand you a variation halfway through. If we find something genuinely unforeseeable behind the wall we tell you before we touch it, with a cost, and you decide.

Waterproofing to Building Code clause E3, restricted building work signed off by a Licensed Building Practitioner, consent applications handled properly when the job needs one.

Not a plumber blaming a tiler blaming a supplier. One contact, one schedule, one invoice at the end of it.
Where we work
A Waikato business, deliberately
We cover Greater Waikato from Hamilton and we are not trying to be everywhere. Staying inside a region we know means our trades are local, our suppliers are local, and we understand the housing stock we are working on. A 1960s Hamilton bathroom hides different problems than a Raglan bach or a Morrinsville farmhouse, and knowing that in advance is what keeps a fixed price fixed.
